Oxford Community Garden
Due to ongoing vandalism and destruction in the Garden, we are no longer going to grow vegetables there. They are pulled out, thrown around and used to block the Pearson Park toilets which is wasteful and discouraging. We are going to turn it into a Bee and Insect friendly Garden instead and grow flowers and herbs that provide food for the Bees. Join us if you'd like to help in, or contribute to this project. Contact is Lee 03 3121536, leevelia99@gmail.com, or come along at 10am on Thursdays.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
