RE: Invitation to Free Event Thursday

Marina Neighbourly Lead from Fernside

In light of the recent events in Christchurch,
I am coordinating a group called NZ Emergency Response Therapists to offer free bodywork sessions (massage, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, holistic pulsing, acupuncture, chiropractic) in Christchurch for anyone who is experiencing stress from the recent events.

If anyone on is feeling the stress, we will set up at NZ College of Massage, 66b Wharenui Road, Riccarton, on Thursday afternoons beginning this week. This week we start a little later, 3:30pm but in the future weeks it will be earlier. Please see the nzert2010 Facebook page, or website: www.nzert.co.nz... or email nzert2010@gmail.com

If you are interested in helping us out, this is our request:
We need a few more volunteer level 6 massage therapists or bodyworkers that can address issues like plantar fasciitis and sore backs from standing long hours. Session are held in south Riccarton, central city and Dunsandel.
We also need some donated food/drink for the volunteers at the events every Thursday in Riccarton.
If you can help us out, call me: 021871818

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
