Require recommendations for gas hot water and wood or gas fire
I want to thank the people who gave us advice last winter after we received an $800 power bill . We took the advice of one neighbour and approached Mcllelands plumbing and gas to quote and fit gas hot water and a wood or gas fire. We did this a couple of weeks before Xmas and found the initial service terrible but put it down to time of year. Shortly after we had a very nice professional man take a look and advised us to go to the showroom and select a fire then we would receive a quote for the full job . We duly waited until everything reopened and went back to Mcllelands ,[once again appalling service] but we persevered and chose two fire options so we could receive a quote. We are 3 elderly people who need warmth for the winter so we do not end up with another $800 power bill and to date have heard nothing further from Mcllelands .Around 10 days ago we approached Mays gas and plumbing to see if we could get someone there to do the job ,we were advised unlikely in time for this winter but someone who was not available right then would call us back and let us know what could be done by them .....nil to date. It is not a cheap job so must be of value to someone ,even though the developers demands must be met don't forget about the bread and butter, thats what you need when the main course dries up. Can anyone advise of a professional company or private contractor who could quote for this job and complete before June . We would like a quote soon as if the fire is to be wood we would like to begin purchasing and stowing now. thank you
