⚠️ WALLACE ST CLOSED FROM SUNDAY 5 JANUARY ⚠️

The Team from Wellington Water

From Sunday, Wallace Street will be closed to through traffic until mid-2020.

This will allow us to install major new drinking water pipes in Wallace St that will connect to the future new Omāroro water reservoir.

Expect traffic delays and if you’re driving, please consider using an alternative route, or other modes of transport.

Cyclists, walkers, scooter users will be able to safely access Wallace St at all times.

Thank you for your understanding as we carry out this important work improving the resilience of Wellington’s water supply.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
