Te Kaitiaki Wai – Wellington Water’s official magazine

The Team from Wellington Water

Welcome to the first edition of Te Kaitiaki Wai – Wellington Water’s official magazine.

Here at Wellington Water, our vision is to create excellence in regional water services so communities prosper.

We deliver our services by focusing on three customer outcomes, which are the driving force behind our day-to-day work: safe and healthy water; respectful for the environment; and resilient networks support our economy.

Te Kaitiaki Wai is an opportunity for us to share with you some stories about the work we're doing on the ground, and how it delivers the outcomes you see and experience every day in your community.

Happy reading!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
