Ngatitoa Tennis has joined Neighbourly. We're Porirua's only beach side tennis club located at the northern end of Ngati Toa Domain. We have four Rebound Ace courts with lights allowing for all day year-round play.

Ngatitoa has teams in the Wellington Interclub competition during both summer and winter. If competitive play doesn't take your fancy, we also have social play and club nights as well as our annual Ngatitoa Tennis Club Championship's.

Our club has a mixture of junior and senior players. During summer we offer junior coaching during week days and a junior club day one day a week. Our senior club night is on a Wednesday from 6pm.

During summer on a Thursday, our senior mid-week session starts from 9:30am and in winter, it starts at 10am.

Other activities we run include club nights at the Renouf Centre in Wellington, a summer business house competition and other social get-togethers.

We're going to be using neighbourly to interact and share whats happening at Ngatitoa Tennis but we also have our website - ngatitoatennis.org.nz... and of course we're on Facebook - NgatitoaTennisClub

Message us here, on Facebook or email clubcaptain@ngatitoatennis.org.nz

(from PCC):

Porirua City Council wants to hear your thoughts on how dogs should be managed in Porirua.

Whether you have a dog or not - your feedback is welcomed on changes proposed in a review of the City’s Dog Control Policy and Bylaw.

Should dogs be allowed to run on beaches for longer each year?

Should we create some new exercise areas where dogs can run off leash?

Should we neuter breeds of dogs deemed menacing?

And while you are giving feedback, the Council also wants your views on whether Porirua needs a fenced dog park?

Share your thoughts until 14 July online through the Council’s website at pcc.govt.nz...

You’ll also find the consultation documents at city libraries, our main administration building in Cobham Court and the Dog Control Centre on Prosser St.
