Public Trust Estate Charges
Hi all, a while back I had a bit of a moan about public trust and their estimated charges for my mothers cash only estate. Having now been finalized just want to give people a picture of their charges:
Fixed Fee charges
Estate establishment fee $2,024.00
Estate Finalisation Fee $1,641.00
External Term Deposit Set-up fee $55.00
Income Commission $119.01
Physical & Digital Office Expenses $55.00
Probate/Grant of Administration fee $949.00
Time and Attendance charges
Additional Services $1,714.34
Beneficiary distributions $63.07
Communications and meetings $409.26
Complex grant of administration $328.90
Deal with estate assets and liabilities $3,108.14
Legal services $95.20
Processing payments and receipts $425.04
Tax administration services $161.92
Disbursement Paid for on behalf
Administration costs $66.78
GST $1,440.22
Total(including GST) $11,215.66
Pretty straightforward cash only estate although the additional services will likely relate to trying to locate my errant brother who was never going to talk to them anyway (public notice & then a PI).
