Friday Feathered Friend
Wellington photographer Simon Woolf took this lovely photo of a kārearea near Te Anau.
"Before I had a chance to photograph it, it took off to a nearby clump of grass, and then after a few minutes actually in the grass flew back to the pole with a waxeye. What followed was straight out of National Geographic."
