Paekakariki Playcentre Bonanza Tomorrow! Sat 4th Nov

Rachel Callinan from Paekakariki Playcentre

Tomorrow’s our big day folks! Everyone has been working super hard to make our bonanza awesome for our community... we just hope the sun comes out to play too! We have so many amazing packages up for grabs in our Live Auction at 12pm... trips to Kapiti Island, nights out in wellies, incredible art from local artists, an awesome fishing kit for the fisher person in your life... bouncy castles.. instant gardens and so much more! We also have some pretty epic raffles this year, one from Chocolate Brown, a luxury basket and a family basket, brimming with goodies and vouchers! Don’t forget to bring cash, as we don’t have eftpos... but we do have a massive jumble sale, loads of food and drinks and crafts and live music. See you all tomorrow!...and bring the sun with you ok?

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
