Let’s kōrero, Porirua!

Porirua City Council

Porirua is our place, and we want to plan it with you – every step of the way.

Between 26 March and 27 April, we will be running formal consultation sessions across Porirua on our Long-term Plan
2021-51. The Mayor, councillors and our staff will be available at these sessions to hear what you have to say and give feedback on how the Long-term Plan can shape our city’s future.

31 March, 10–11.30 am Refugee & Migrant Community – Porirua Gospel Chapel, 88 Hereford St, Cannons Creek.

7 April, 7–8 pm: Community workshop – Mana Cruising Club.

8 April: Iwi consultation.

9 April, 10am–12pm: Maata Waka – Maraeroa Marae, 216 Warspite Ave, Waitangirua.

10 & 11 April, 12–2 pm: Community drop-in – The Spine, Pātaka.

13 April, 7–8 pm: Community workshop – Nuanua Kindergarten, 5A Warspite Ave, Cannons Creek.

16 & 17 April, 10 am–1 pm: Community drop-in – North City Shopping Centre (lower level, opposite Mirrou).

18 April, 10 am–12 pm: Community drop-in – North City Shopping Centre (lower level, opposite Mirrou).

21 April, 7–8 pm: Community workshop – Pāuatahanui Lighthouse Cinema, 3 Paekakariki Hill Rd, Pāuatahanui.

22 April, 7–8 pm: Community workshop – Porirua Club, 1 Lodge Pl, Porirua.
