The training event,… View moreJunior members of the Kapiti Chess Club competed in a Training Tournament at Johnsonville on Sunday 14th April. The 3-member team all had good wins against a strong field comprising boys and girls from schools in the Wellington Region. The youngest competitors where 7 years old. The training event, organised in collaboration with International Chess Master, Scott Wastney, provided good experience for the juniors ahead of the Kapiti Region Schools chess competition, scheduled for 25th May.
