23 Jan: Eat, Drink and Be Crafty 2021 - Enjoy the very best of locally-made crafts, artisan food and refreshments in a lovely rural setting.
23 Jan: Summer Concert Series: Shaun Preston - performing a wide range of hits from acts like The Killers, David Bowie, Adele and Elton John.
24 Jan: Summer Concert Series: The Shenanigans - bringing a fun, Celtic twist to their set, be it rock ‘n’ roll, country or classics from the Emerald Isle.
25 Jan: Summer Concert Series: Mojo Band Wellington - have been rocking together for more than 20 years and will get the crowd dancing with their impressive set list.
28 Jan: January Night Market & free family movie, Porirua - Mighty Ducks PG (1992) A self-centered Minnesota lawyer is sentenced to community service coaching a rag tag youth hockey team.
06 Feb: Waitangi Day 2021 - Porirua City Council will once again partner with mana whenua Ngāti Toa to deliver a fun-filled event – one of the largest to take place in New Zealand on our national day.
06 Feb: Waitangi Day at Arena Aquatics - For a splashing good time, head down to Porirua's Te Rauparaha Arena Aquatics for a fun day by the pool on Waitangi Day.
14 Feb: Valentine's Day drive in movie - Roll up to Porirua Park with your loved ones on Valentine's Day, to watch a free movie. Help us choose the movie you'd like to watch: vote here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Valentinemovie

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
