Tegel chicken meat
Notice that Tegel are labeling their packaged chicken at the supermarkets as cage free. This is playing with words trying to imply these chickens for slaughter are being grown under better or improved conditions. Broiler or table chickens have not had their living conditions improved they were never kept in cages that is laying hens only so the label “cage free” is just a marketing ploy addressed to customers to make them feel better about the chicken they are buying for eating not understanding what miserable lives broiler chickens “live”
Under the few short weeks from hatching to slaughter. No I am note vegetarian and eat all meats just think the lives of some meat animals could be improvements
