Wither Hills are open to walkers
The Marlborough District Council are to take down signs posted at Wither Hills tracks, which wrongly state walkers are not allowed on upper tracks during Covid Alert Level 4.
The signs have caused some confusion with people seeking to exercise during lockdown.
Council communications manager Glyn Walters said the park’s walking paths are open. However, most of the mountain biking network was closed.
Cyclists are only allowed on the park’s “lower-risk” trails.
