How to help prevent Christmas burglaries
Hi neighbours!
A number of burglaries from commercial and resident properties were recorded in the past week - a reminder to everyone to lock their doors and make sure that if they're going away not to advertise it for others to find out.
Marlborough community Constable Russ Smith said during this time of year, there tends to be an increase of criminal activity around theft, particularly around residential properties where thieves may suspect, or think, there is an opportunity to obtain items of more value.
