Heavy rain warning for Marlborough
Be wary of severe weather which is approaching and may affect the region over the next 24 hours. Marlborough is forecasted to expect 100 to 130mm of northerly rain, especially about the Richmond Range and Rai Valley. Peak rates of 10 to 20mm per hour during Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Heavy rain may cause streams and rivers to rise rapidly. Surface flooding and slips are also possible and driving conditions may be hazardous.
Valid: 24 hours from 8pm Monday to 8pm Tuesday. Keep up to date here.
