Kia ora, neighbours. The Turua and wider community are invited to join staff from leading children’s charity Barnardos for a blessing and ceremony to break ground for their exciting new Early Learning Centre building. The event will start at 5pm on 18 October at Turua Early Learning Centre on the corner of Raupoiti Street and Piako Road, and will be followed by refreshments.
Come along on the day, or RSVP to: Centre Manager, Becs Aislabie, M: 0275229780.
We look forward to seeing you there.
What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
