T3 Transition Towns is staging this amazing doco film about sustainable futures that Kiwis are achieving around NZ. It is inspiring & features communities, towns & individuals who are achieving all sorts of community action & activities, that are changing lives & creating models on how NZ'ers are making a sustainable future happen now.
Not to be missed at the Civic Center Wednesday 13th March 6pm starting with light refreshments & runs for around 2hrs. See attached poster
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
