Does the sound of the tsunami siren scare you?

Denise Piper Reporter from Whangārei Leader

Northland civil defence is changing the way it tests its tsunami sirens, to acknowledge some people are still unsettled after the tsunami evacuation warning on March 5. Instead of the sirens going off for 10 minutes at 10am and then 30 seconds at 10.30am, the sirens will go off once only for just two minutes, at midday on Easter Sunday, April 4. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
