We are a group who are dedicated to supporting the personal growth and development of all of its' members. We offer a supportive & positive learning experience which encourages the development of communication & leadership skills, self confidence & personal growth.
Who would benefit from Toastmasters?
Anyone doesn’t feel comfortable with public speaking or speaking to others. Learn to speak and be direct, specific and clear. We also look at our non verbal communication. Toastmasters also teaches leadership, presentation and listening skills, such as providing encouraging, constructive feedback
You will find a supportive learn-by-doing environment at Alpine, that allows you to achieve your goals at your own pace. Toastmasters skills can be applied in many real situations, such as introducing yourself, giving celebration speeches, getting your point across and how to engage with people more easily.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
