Sunday 04 Dec - Next Ōtaki Repair Café - Ōtaki Memorial Hall from 10am to 2pm
Our Fix-it-Wizards are ready to darn, mend, replace, glue, sharpen, tune your bike, look at electrical appliances, or anything that is broken or not working as it should.
Small Town. Big Heart - Ōtaki's Manaakitanga at its best. Our volunteers also like to teach you skills, so you can try it yourself next time. Fixing something yourself feels good!
Have a look around your loved treasures you want to keep, mark the 4th December in your calendar and come along thinking: Throw it out? I don't think so!
For best results and that we have the right tools and ingredients available, it would be great if you let us know in advance what the problem is. Bring along any replacement bits you know you'll need to have the item fixed, e.g. a zip or a button. Please email with details: Otaki.repaircafe@gmail.com
Nothing to repair? Come along, enjoy a cup of tea/coffee & cake, lend a hand with someone else’s repair job or browse the Christmas Swap Table.
