How to permanently remove spam - How to report spam – AND this works
I use AOL as my email – so you may well have improvise my terminology for other hosts.
Open the email
go to: MORE
go to: Open message source
Search for: “Return-Path”
Now open a new window: and follow/type in www.whois.net...
For example: Info from this web site has been targeting me for a few days return@pipat.website
I type in pipat.website
And I get www.whois.com...
So, when I read down the page I see: abuse@namecheap.com
+++++++++++++++++++++++
I then send abuse@namecheap.com or who ever the host is (they always/should have an abuse/spam email for you to copy.
I then send (select Forward on the original spam email) with ALL of the “Return Path” copied information on it, asking for the host to stop the spam to me. Often I will get a response from the host ie in this case namecheap.
Vigilance and tenancy IS required. Some times these spammers use several endings ie .com .net etc.
It is actually illegal for spammers – and the host is legally bound to block these emails from your name – at the least.
It really does work. I went into my UK account this morning (that I have had since inception 25+ years) and as I haven’t kept this email ‘clean’ I was presented with some thirty spam from just a few days.
Sound tedious – but once you get the hang it – although a B nuisance it does solve the problem. Good luck.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

85.5% Yes

13.4% No

1.1% Other - I'll share below
