Come along to Kapiti's only midweek Market every Tuesday in Mahara Place Waikanae from 11am - 1.30pm, where you can buy some great locally grown and produced goods - Waikanae Beach Honey, Reikorangi Olive oil and free range eggs, locally grown plants and seedlings, jewellery, sewing, soy candles, 2020 Waikanae calendars (great for posting overseas), recycled and upcycled items, crafts, unique bags and scarves from recycled materials, childrens books, The Rawleighs Man and The Sockbroker. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
