Local Sushi Master - if u havent tried Tornado yet....
Kāpiti is privileged to have Lee and Mandy operate Tornado Sushi at Kapiti Lights (2 down from Life Pharmacy). From the freshest sashimi (kingfish, tuna, salmon, snapper) to absolutely the most delicious variety of sushi including Lee's famous Teriyaki Rare Beef. The Tuna Anari is also delicious.
Hot food in the cabinet, dumplings, prawns, chicken options plus many hot dishes on the menu like Katzu, Teriyaki Chicken....
If you want your own combination or something more, talk to Lee. Having a party....say no more.
Having followed Lee since he brought sushi to Wellington in the 90's, we need to treasure his skills and keep them busy.
Closed Sunday but open every other day into the evening for those early dinners. Again, Lee can make you something special.
See you there.... Kāpiti Lights, opposite the railway station, Paraparaumu.
I'm recommending Tornado as they make the most amazing food, and like all businesses finding it tough, need patronage. Support local!
