The Lion’s major $500,000 fundraising project for the Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital Outdoor Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Facility (“Playscape”) was completed yesterday with a Ribbon Cutting Opening Ceremony.
Attached is a photo of Playscape during the opening ceremony and also the Honours Board giving good recognition to all Lions clubs including The Lions Club of Kapiti who donated $10,000 .
And the Lions movement donated a further $20,000 to the Children’s Hospital at the end of the ceremony.
