Creekfest this weekend~ come check out HERBS and ANNIE CRUMMER ER
Creekfest is a local annual event started in 2004 at Cannons Creek Park to raise awareness of programmes and services available in the region to achieve better health and well-being outcomes.
Creekfest offers a platform to health, education and social service providers to showcase their programmes and services. Over the years we have seen some innovative methods to attract attendees into service provider tents which set the scene to deliver serious key messages to a target audience in a fun environment.
Stage entertainment including local and national artists, sporting events, crafts and community food stalls are all drawn cards to attract attendees and of course get your Kampot Pepper and Pearls!!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
