NOT FEELING SAFE TO WALK AROUND CITY AT WEEKENDS

Moyrah from Tauranga City

My car has broken down and in garage for weekend, I decided to take a walk down Cameron Road to the First Credit Union, to use the ATM, before I arrived a man came out of petrol station on bike then stopped as I walk passed got off bike and started following me and asking something in horrible voice, I was frightened and went straight over the main cameron Rd and started walking the other way as he kept watching me, horrible. Went down to Pak n Sav and waited for about 10mins then went back to walking to the Bank again, the man had gone but as I walked towards the ATM machine a homeless man was sitting by the bank door nearby. I just had to walk away again. So not feeling safe.
