Elderly Parental Advice
Hi neighbours - my parents have reached that age (85 & 90) where they are starting to really struggle but they do not want to leave their home. So, I am trying to plan ahead and just looking for a few ideas - what do you wish you had installed for your parents (or yourselves) to help them get through this final chapter? Any services out there that made life a bit easier for both you and your parents?
I figure if they are going to stay in their home we need to get things in place - but what exactly?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
