THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Usually when you see Daffodil Day or Pink Ribbon collectors down the main street, you go up to them, flick them a gold coin or two and get a yellow or pink ribbon attached to your chest and go about your day. But it's not till you have someone close to you pass away from cancer do you realize the gesture and its importance.
It's the same with giving blood. Donating to charities is not only a nice thing to do but it really does help people out. My heart goes out to people and families of those battling cancer. Some day there will be a cure, but until then, keep giving and live everyday to the fullest.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
