• 28 Days to go before the official launch of the book in Palmerston North
• 12 Days to go for the “Give a Little” campaign to run. We are closing in on our target and I thank you all for your very generous and encouraging support. Thank you also for encouraging your family and friends to join in on this venture.
• Just received notification from the distributors this comment.
”The brand new memoir of ex-All Black, Neven MacEwan, “When the Crowd Stops Roaring” (officially to be released in May) but available to order, display and sell from next week. Projected to be one of the biggest sellers in NZ this year!”
• The books have started their journey from the printers to the media and book distributors.
• Everything is in place for the three official launches planned and the details are:-
Tuesday 30th April at the Event Central City Library at 10.00am Guest speaker His Worship the Mayor Grant Smith
Wednesday 1st May at All Saints Church Community Hall at 3:00pm Guest speaker John Walton.
Tuesday 21st May at the Wellington Cathedral at 6:00pm Guest speakers Keith Quinn Rugby Commentator and the Dean of Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, David Rowe

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
