TSB have said if we wish to drive the 2 hours to Wellington (they have just closed our branch in Palmerston North) we can deposit it with them. The Banking Ombudsman have said there is nothing they can do to help as it is a commercial decision. This will affect anyone who gets an overseas pension by cheque. This may also affect anyone who has family overseas who wishes to send them money in the form of a cheque.

Rural artist Graham Christensen will be opening his studio to the public over the weekend of the 14th and 15th of October as part of the Art Trail Manawatu.

Having spent much of his life farming in and around the region, Graham’s paintings capture rural life and moments in time that make up the rich tapestry of our farming community.

He lives on a farm on Glenburn Road, Ashhurst and paints from a large, light-filled studio – a converted room at the back of the barn.

You can visit Graham as part of the Art Trail, or drop in to his open studio independently on the 14th and 15th of October, 10am – 4pm.
Address: 84 Glenburn Road (turn off Napier Rd, opposite Greenhaugh Gardens). There is good access (no need for gumboots!) and plenty of parking. For more info see www.grahamchristensen.co.nz...

A good night's sleep is essential for your physical and mental well-being. If you find yourself tossing and turning, try these tips to help you achieve the sleep of your dreams.

Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise, such as walking, swimming, or yoga on most days of the week. Just avoid exercising too close to bedtime, as it may increase alertness.

Setting up a regular sleep schedule can work wonders for achieving restful sleep. Try to go to bed and wake up around the same time every day, even on weekends. This will help regulate your body's internal clock, making it easier to fall asleep and wake up naturally.

Electronic devices emit blue light that suppresses the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep. Not to mention that texting, watching television or scrolling are all stimulating, which can keep your brain on alert. Avoid using electronic devices for at least an hour before bed and turn off the TV.

Click read more for more tips on achieving a good night's sleep.

Does anyone have any at a reasonable price for sale?

My 8 yr old boy would like to use our coop again and have a project of his own caring for a couple of chickens and collecting their eggs.
