Food together and Te Tihi Matariki pack on Friday 14 June
One of the aims of Food Together is to connect with our community by making fresh and affordable produce available to everyone. Yesterday the Awapuni vege hub team at St Matthews combined with Te Tihi staff and packed 304 Value orders. This was a record pack for us and quite a logistical challenge too! It was a great morning full of busy packing activity, teamwork and fun while knowing that 304 families were going to have a lovely surprise delivered to their door in the form of a box of Food Together fresh fruit and vegetables to help celebrate Matariki.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
