Emergency services respond to suspected avalanche at the peak of Ben Lomond
Emergency services are responding to a suspected avalanche at the peak of Ben Lomond near Queenstown.
A police spokesman said they had received a call of an incident at the peak of Ben Lomond just after 11.20am on Friday.
A St John spokesman said rescue helicopter had been sent to retrieve an injured man. An ambulance has been sent also.
