Feilding Repair Cafe
Manchester Street School Feilding's Principal, Jared Fretwell and Office Manager, Kate Shepherd accepting a donation from Feilding Repair CAFE. Generous koha from the Feilding public for voluntary work completed at the cafe during 2023 enabled this donation. The school's name was drawn from entries gathered in the Feilding Repair CAFE 's NOMINATE a SCHOOL for a UNIFORM FIX campaign - an initiative to help reduce fabric waste going to land fil. Rose Wingate nominated Manchester Street School because 'she loves their chickens and butterfly garden'. This initiative will continue at our pop up events in 2024.
