Lost at PN Hospital Poogle Pet (Healing mascot)
For the past 10 years my Mother has been though 8 major surgeries and many many smaller procedures and hospital visits.
Through it all (even into the surgery prep room) Pooch / Poogle has been her healing mascot - given to her by her Grandson for her first surgery.
On Monday 30th September she was admitted to Ward 28. Pooch was faithfully with her. When she left on Wednesday 2nd October she couldn't see him anywhere. We have been to lost property at the hospital many times and no-one in the ward seems to know.
It is now obvious someone has Pooch - perhaps a child picked him up?
Please - if you know the wherabouts of Pooch help. It is so very important healing Pooch gets back to his owner.
Pooch is a Neopet Mac Donalds toy - about the size of an apple (sits on your hand) made of soft foam and yellow fabric

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
