Unique Opportunity To Get Into The Housing Market

Traci from Highbury - Westbrook

Hard working solo mum with not enough deposit or annual income to secure first home alone, seeks likewise single or another solo parent to co-invest in a doer upper between or around the Palmerston North / Dannevirke route.
I am looking for a large house with good bones on a large section in a quiet location, rural if possible. I have found a few options that are suitable but I am willing to alter search parameters for the right person, compatibility is more important than property / house specifications.
If you are responsible, hardworking, diligent, sensible, reliable and articulate with attention to detail and good communication skills, you will be an ideal candidate. A willingness to endure and a good attitude is more important that renovation experience, although a background in building / painting /or other skill is bonus.

I expect this to be a minimum 4 - 5 year venture. If you are interested in finding out more about this undertaking, please send CV and cover letter including brief overview about your financial and family situation to Traci at renovatebuy@gmail.com. I will provide my CV and ideas to successful candidates.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
