Argentine Tango workshop - 251 College St Palmerston North Sunday 21 August 4-6pm
Every second Sunday from 4-6pm Tango del Corazon runs Argentine Tango Practicas from the Manawatu Deer Stalkers Hall 251 College St Palmerston North. The 2 hour sessions are $5. This Sunday, Aug 21, Susan Callan, from Wellington's Tango Collab teacher group, is conducting an Open Level Argentine Tango workshop. This workshop includes a 1-hour practica, and will be totally suitable for beginning tango dancers. $20 Payment is by cash or bank transfer at the door. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
