🚧 Temporary Road/Track Closure: Muriwai Drive/Nga Tapuwae o Toi, Tuesday 12th November 2019
Tomorrow/Tuesday a helicopter will be installing a new aerial for the Whakatāne Coastguard - installation timing is subject to weather conditions. The drop zone is on the hill above the road.
During the installation and helicopter presence, the road below and track above the drop zone will be temporarily closed.
We appreciate your patience as this work is completed.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
