Heirloom Tomato Plants and Other Vegetables at Waikanae and Otaki Community Markets
Once again staring down the barrel of bad weather for the markets this weekend but we'll be there with more tomatoes and zucchini.
Cucumber will be ready for next weekend and a range of other seedlings for Labour Weekend and after.
Not ready to plant yet? No worries, we'll have lots of veggies coming on right up until Christmas. And many tender plants such as peppers and eggplants will just not prosper if planted too soon and subjected to a cold spell.
Worst Xmas ever?
There's a a lot of planning that goes into Christmas day and sometimes things just don't go to plan. But it can be a good thing - a family mishap or hilarious memory that you can laugh about in Christmases to come.
