Tomorrow is your last chance this year to visit the Mahara Midweek Market!! We'll be back in the New Year though on 7 January 2020!! Tomorrow we'll have fresh veg, freshly picked and locally grown blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and avocadoes. Gifts and stocking fillers, local honey, free range eggs, plants and succulents, Waikanae calendars, quilts and cushions, upcycled and recycled products and of course The Rawleighs Man will be there!! Come along to Mahara Place, Waikanae between 11am and1.30pm and check us out!!

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
