GPSOS Independent Alarms
Hi my neighbours in the Waitaki District. My name Bridget Percy and I am going to be working for a company called GPSOS. They have just launched an independent alarm device last year which give the older, at risk people with disabilities their independence back. With a monitoring device in which they can go anywhere and not just in the home so if something happens, they'll never be alone when they go out. The GP1000 device has a built in two-way talk communication so they can talk through it and us them. Has fall detection which triggers an automatic response if you drop it or fall. It's 24/7 365 days a year. Why I'm telling you this? Is who do you all know that has some sort of permanent disability and are at risk that we could make sure they stay that way. I would love to hear from anyone that thinks it would be a good idea to buy them or someone they love a pendant. You can wear it round your neck, on a belt or on your wrist. Please reply and let me know. Thank you Bridget if interested!

Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.

As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
