Cruise Ships Visits and our own venture Taranaki Input; or lack of!

Tom P from Lynmouth - Moturoa

With all the hullua barrr about the 2 or 3 crusise ships visits we have had and many thanks to Witherbus for their promo's about the Visits. But where is our RATE PAYER FUNDED "Venture Taranak"i and the local "Chamber of Commerce" business association, doing anything at all to stimulate these types of visits. Maybe they are just too busy walking through the costly rort named the Len Lye Center, making fictitious numbers up on how many people go in to view the place. On behalf of the rate payers there should be a notice board displayed at the entrance, showing the weekly cost to rate payers, so it can continue being open. Let us pray!

Problems with something you bought?

The team from Citizens Advice Bureau New Plymouth

When you buy something, it should be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and last for a reasonable time. Sometimes, things don't work out that way. If you purchased from a retail store, you may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act.
If the thing you bought is faulty, we can help sort out what rights you have.
