If you don't agree with the Values that either QV or NPDC or TRC have given you, you can take your papers straight to the CourtHouse in N.P. Ask for a FEE WAIVER APPLICATION, this will give everyone who is on a Benefit or NZ Super, no need to pay the $90 Filing Fee OR the $900 Hearing Fee! You will not hear this from QV or NPDC or TRC! Surprise, surprise!! - not! All the Best, Heather Pantin -Lewis P.S. Let me know how you get on?

Local pianist, Rob Fleming will conclude his short recital series exploring the 3 B's (Bach, Beethoven & Brahms) of the classical piano repertoire featuring the Romantic master, Johannes Brahms. Rob is performing Brahms' set of seven fantasies opus 116, written in the final years of his life. These seven short pieces are intensely personal and enigmatic, and they vary from deep introspection to spectacular ferocity.
Koha appreciated.

The email claims authorities have done a search of the email recipient’s computer locating explicit illegal material, and that a reply is needed within 48 hours or a warrant will be issued for their arrest.
This email is a scam and anyone who receives it should not reply under any circumstances. Although some versions of the email do not specifically reference money, other similar scams involve the recipient being issued a ‘fine’ when they respond. Police have received several reports of this scam and enquiries are underway.
It’s important to note that Police and other government agencies will never contact you out of the blue and ask for your password, credit card or bank details.
Anyone who received this email scam is asked to send it as an attachment in an email to the Police Cybercrime Team: cybercrime@police.govt.nz
Police recommend taking a cautious approach to unsolicited emails.
- Trust your gut instinct - if it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

We would like to give back to the community by helping keep Awanui Cemetery in tip-top condition. We are looking for some Angels who are interested in looking to help support the Council staff by doing some of the tasks that are not part of their everyday duties.
We’d like volunteers for year-round weeding, trimming, deadheading, pruning, plant maintenance and if there is a group who would like to become involved, then perhaps mulching, planting & dividing, and transplanting plants.
The current team are hoping to have a few younger people join them as it can be a little hard on the backs if you are not young. Do you know anyone who would be keen to help on an occasional basis – not on a regular basis – that would be good too – and really helpful.
This is on the Second Wednesday of the month -winter/autumn months and twice a month spring / summer months - from 9am to approximately 11am .
We will work with all those who offer their time and try and make it work for everyone and ensure that we are able to work with NPDC staff who enable this unique project to happen.
For all new volunteers we will have a first meeting onsite with Council staff to inspect the site and the areas we will be working on. This would be during the working week.
There will be site safety process and an induction.
Horticultural knowledge an advantage but not vital.
If you are interested please contact Wendy at Volunteering New Plymouth on 06 758 8986; Ph/Txt 022 571 4228 or Email: admin@volunteeringnewplymouth.nz so she can forward your details to the team leader.

The latter however is a common action as the push to increase property density or mitigate a growing rates problem. Are there hidden 3 Waters costs. How do this compare with existing costs?
See below for an example -
"Contributions related to wastewater or water supply are charged separately through Watercare Services Ltd. These are called Infrastructure Growth Charges (IGC). Similar to development contributions, these would be payable in situations where a new site connects to the publicly reticulated wastewater or water supply network, or similarly a new dwelling doing the same.
The IGC for the metropolitan area is $11,680 plus GST However if you are doing your development in more remote settlements or townships such as Wellsford or Helensville, the costs are considerably higher at $18,556 plus GST and $22,080 plus GST".
Do we need more bureauracy?
