Are you or your child coping with a factory instrument with factory tone? Help is here!
I make string instruments, and have some instruments for sale.
They are all to my own design, with deep arching for a mellow tone.
Maple backs, sides and neck, with spruce face. Fingerboards, tailpieces and chins for each instrument are cut from the same pieces of Rimu.
Strings are always Pirastro Tonica (is easier for me to compare tone between instruments).
Note that each instrument has a unique purfling design, and the back of each scroll is carved with a Kowhai motif.
Varnish is traditional shellac and rosin combination.
The construction history and details of each instrument can be found on my website
"violinsbyjoel.blogspot.com...
I have a case available, price neg.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding any of them. Prices are negotiable, but please be mindful that these are not knocked out in a factory - each is hand crafted by myself. They are not Strads, they are Dodds!

Pain destroys your Joy.
Almost every person wanting Bowen Therapy is in pain. And they share how they cannot do the simplest things because of the pain:
😔They cannot stand long enough to cook a nice dinner for the family.
😔They cannot bend over so they cannot get their shoes on.
😔They cannot get up from the floor, so they don’t play with the grandkids.
😔They have stopped their hobby’s and sports.
😔They cannot walk in the bush or on the beach.
😔They cannot drive in the car for long.
😔They have to rest several hours a day, to relieve the pain.
😔They feel old, 😔they feel useless, 😔they feel like a burden to the family, 😔they feel despondent.

Bowen Therapy tends to be very helpful in relieving the pain. And relief of the pain, allows the energy to be put to something far more enjoyable:
🔥Something you choose,
💚something you love,
🫶something you share.

When you are in pain and you have not yet tried Bowen Therapy, reach out and we’ll discuss if its for you, or book yourself in here: holistic-health-taranaki.au4.cliniko.com...

The idea started with Samuel Parnell, a carpenter in Wellington, who in 1840 refused to work more than eight hours a day. Since skilled workers were in short supply, his employer had to agree.

As more skilled workers arrived, employers tried to change working conditions, but Parnell and others kept pushing for better rights. In 1890, Parnell led a Labour Day parade of 1,500 people to promote the eight-hour day. He passed away shortly after, and nine years later, Labour Day became an official public holiday.

Do you feel that we have reached the ideal in working environments yet? What rights are you passionate about relating to employment? Share your thoughts!
