Outdoor gear needed
Hi all, I volunteer with the Red Cross Refugee resettlement programme. The former refugee family I volunteer with (mum, dad and five year old son) have never seen snow before, and I’d love to take them to the snow when it gets colder. But they don’t have the right gear, and limited means to get it. So, if anyone has men’s size 8 hiking boots, women’s size 6 hiking boots, sturdy children’s shoes for a five year old, rainproof jackets and thermal tops/leggings that they no longer need, I would love to hear from you. WANTED: Iron good condition
I need a good iron but they cost alot new. So if you have one, I am happy to pay $10-15 dollars if it works well and gets even linen straight and crease free?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
