The benefits of Riding for the disabled
A great story by the BBC highlighting why horse riding supervision can be of such benefit to those suffering from disabilities. Here at Nelson we daily see the improvement in strength, coordination and confidence our riders get, but we badly need the help of all the community to support us, both with volunteering to help at the Centre and supporting us with funds. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

WANTED: Iron good condition
I need a good iron but they cost alot new. So if you have one, I am happy to pay $10-15 dollars if it works well and gets even linen straight and crease free?
