Event Volunteering Information Session
Have you always thought about volunteering but can’t dedicate a set number of hours to it every week? Are you looking for ways to volunteer at times that suit you, outside of regular business hours?
Nelson Tasman Hospice support & run a variety of different fundraising events throughout the year to raise crucial funds for our service. We are looking to build on our dedicated team of volunteers and establish a pool of casual volunteers with more of a focus on fundraising and event support.
Please join us at 5:30pm, Thursday the 1st of February 2024 at Nelson Tasman Hospice, 331 Suffolk Road, Stoke to learn more about all the varied and exciting roles we have available. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, we’d love to see you!
What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.
