Lambs Ears / Stachys Byzantina - 10 for $12
Stachys Byzantina also known as Lamb's Ears are a wonderful evergreen perennial that are mostly grown for their velvety silver tongue-shaped leaves that as the name suggests resemble lamb's ear, we have used them as an edger in our garden.
The flowers add some textural interest, but we remove them as by doing so it will promote more foliage growth. They are so easy to grow.
They thrive in either a full sun or lightly shaded area but do like well-drained soils but can tolerate poor soil. They are the perfect choice to soften hard corners and edges of paths and look lovely underplanted with Roses.
The silvery leaf colour is a great foil for plants with both hot and cool colours. Plant at spacings of about 30cm and divide every few years to maintain vigour.
This auction is for 10 bare-rooted plants & come in different size plants

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
