Opportunities – Study Awards!

Sandy from Stepneyville

The Nelson Soroptimist Education Trust offers up to 20 awards for female students each year. These are for women of any age who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents living in the Top of the South Island (Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough) and facing financial hardship in commencing, continuing or completing any form of tertiary study or apprenticeship.

Full time and part-time students may apply for financial support to enrol in a course of academic study or practical learning that will improve their employment prospects or help achieve a change to better their professional, business or trades career.

Check your eligibility by requesting an application form - email nsetscholarships@gmail.com

Applications close 31 January. Awards are paid in March.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
