Waste No More - FREE Workshops for reducing waste at Events

Waste No More is happy to present two workshops presented by Nelson City Council. Please find below the links for the free workshops. These workshops are open to staff, Council contractors, and community/commercial event organisers. Could you please share these links with your networks as appropriate. Apologies if this announcement has reached you more than once.

The workshops will provide practical steps on how to avoid or reduce waste at your event. Using the new Rethink Waste plans and resources, the workshop will include hands-on activities, and guidance on the following:

Working with stallholders
Types of packaging and how they can be processed
Introduction to reusables/washing systems
Messaging and communications
How to set up effective stations on-site
Working out costs to build into your event budget
Health & safety
